Lotus flower has been one of the most popular symbols of oriental thought and spirituality. Evil is to slip off a wise person as water slips off lotus flowers. The Sisters of Sacred Science live in the midst of the world without being tainted by it.The Sacred Scripture, the source of all perfection rests embedded on the foundation of purity, symbolized by lotus. With the motto omnia tibi domine “all for you Lord”, the Sisters of Sacred Sciences strive after purity of minds and hearts offering all for God's glory with total dedication. The flame constitutive of three SSS is the symbol of archana, self offering shedding divine radiance emanating from the Eucharist, the bread of life. With love aflame, absorbed in the liturgy (service of God) the SSS illumines the way of the cross on their yatra, journey to perfection in holiness.
